Attorney Steve Sumner was invited to attend a cutting edge discussion entitled "Forensic Toxicology for Attorneys 2012" in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. John Vasiliades, Ph.D. led the conference. Topics covered include the forensic toxicology of alcohol, gas chromatography techniques (South Carolina uses this method for testing blood alcohol), breath testing machines, the pharmacology of legal and illegal drugs in the drunk driving case; and finally, the use of expert testimony in alcohol and drug cases.
